    ICC has shortlisted seven Australian cities to host the marquee men’s T20 Cricket world cup next year. It is expected that all of these cities will host the matches. However, it depends on the Covid situation at the time. These are the cities:

    A total of 45 matches will be played in seven cities in Australia during the T20 World Cup 2022, as announced by the ICC on 16th November 2021. Among these 7 cities are

    MelbourneSydney, Geelong, Hobart, Brisbane, Adelaide & Perth.

    In accordance with the ICC media release, 7 venues will host the T20 World Cup 2022 matches: the MCG, Sydney Cricket Ground, Kardinia Park Stadium, The Gabba, Adelaide Oval, Bellerive Oval, and Perth Stadium.

    In 2022, the semifinals will take place at the Sydney Cricket Ground and Adelaide Oval on the 9th and 10th of November and the final will be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on the 13th.
